A brand identity for Bufalini’s design business unit, built around the grey tones of Carrara marble and designed to connect heritage, material culture, and contemporary applications.

Overview

Bufalini is a historic company rooted in Carrara’s marble culture. The project defined the visual identity for its design business unit, translating a long industrial and material heritage into a clear, flexible brand system. Starting from the grey tones found in Carrara marble veins, the identity introduced a restrained palette of papers, colours and applications, moving from darker to lighter shades while maintaining strong visual continuity. This chromatic and material approach allowed the system to work across different scales and formats, from business cards, stationery and digital signatures to larger environmental applications. The result is a brand ecosystem conceived to give coherence to the company’s sub-brands and to express Bufalini’s connection with stone, production and place through a precise, understated and durable visual language.
